Recalling Memories Already Made - Part 1

I know I won't remember them all, but here's my first attempt at recalling all the wonderful Ellia stories I have experienced so far.  I'm sure you've probably heard some before, but maybe some are new to you.  Enjoy!

I'll start with a new one that just happened tonight.  At bedtime I was rocking her as usual, and I asked her if she wanted to pray.  She immediately grabbed my hands and was ready.  I prayed and said Amen.  Then she announced "Ehya pay."  Me: "Ellia wants to pray?" Her: "YEAH."  Okay.  We hold hands again.  I say "Okay, say 'Dear God'"  Ellia stares blankly.  I repeat myself.  She holds her finger to her lips and whispers,  "SHHHHH!  Ehya be wiet (quiet)!  Paying!  Be wiet!"  Mommy prays again and says Amen.  Ellia announces "Let's EAT!"

A story from playing with Aunt Becky: Ellia is in a stage where she is constantly asking what we're doing.  Becky was the target of this repeated question one afternoon, and after answering several times, she said "I'm going to take over the world!"  Ellia smiled mischievously and said, "YEAH! LET'S DO IT!"

In June, Ellia and Mommy were shopping for a birthday present for my Ellia's Papa. While walking through a store I asked "Ellia, what should we get Papa for his birthday?"  Ellia excitedly squealed, "NANA!"  Indeed.

Mommy and Ellia were taking a walk at the Brady's Run Park track.  Every time someone ran past us, she would excitedly squeal "Run! Run!"  At least she's encouraging, right?

Daddy comes home from working out at the gym.  Ellia says "What doing?" Daddy says "I was working out."  Ellia, "Oh no!  You otay??"

On a hot summer day, we piled into the car, the AC blasts on.  Ellia exclaims "Oh dosh!  Wind! Wind!  No worries!"

This story requires a picture.  Ellia was coloring the Target ads in the kitchen while I was doing the dishes.  At one point I asked her, "Ellia, did you toot?"  She bent over to look between her legs and said "Let's see!"

Catching Up

Meet my amazing daughter, Ellia Paige.

She's two.

She is loved by LOADS of special people.

One of these special people asked me the other day if I am keeping track of all the amazing things she says in  a place where they can all be compiled.  I realized that other than random posts on Facebook and texts to family, I didn't really have a place where I was saving all the wonderful memories she's been giving me.  So I've created this little spot for myself, my family and my daughter when she's older, to look back on later.

The first few posts will be just a big mass posting of stories that have already happened - hopefully I'm able to recall as many special moments as possible!  If you have any stories that you remember that you don't see showing up on this blog, please contact me so I can write them down!
